Jiann Hsieh, until recently Vice President and General Manager China of the leading RFID manufacturer Alien Technology Corporation, is a seasoned veteran in the RFID industry with an excellent track record and an extensive network in the sector. In addition, he has also built up an excellent working relationship with various Chinese government bodies during his long-standing career in which he has held senior management positions with technology companies in Beijing and Shanghai.
At Alien, he successfully established the Alien distribution network to cover greater China and Southeast Asia and expanded the company's position in China, resulting in a substantial increase in sales revenue in four years. Prior to joining Alien, Jiann was Vice President North Asia of the RFID manufacturer IPICO Inc. after IPICO acquired his company, Beijing XPS Technology LTD in 2006. Jiann founded Beijing XPS Technology in 2001 as a vehicle to introduce UHF RFID technology and other Auto-ID technologies to China. The success of this pioneering company and its subsequent acquisition by IPICO serve as a testimony to Jiann's entrepreneurial spirit and can-do mentality.
In addition to his strong industrial background, Jiann is also a renowned speaker and trainer in China. He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science / Industrial Engineering from Ohio University (USA) and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Chun-Yuan University (Taiwan).
In view of his background, experience, expertise and network, Jiann is exactly the right person to provide the leadership that Invengo requires in order to capitalize on the interesting growth opportunities in the global RFID market and further expand its distribution network.
